“I have been serving this school for four (4) years as an English Teacher, a School Registrar and a Guidance Designate. Undertrained and with limited resources, I can’t provide the support that my students need, not to mention the fact that I don’t have a Guidance Office where my students can visit and feel safe.”

What To Expect When You Donate
Start your journey of helping disadvantaged young people in the Philippines with Halad to Health.
The post-pandemic world is facing a mental health crisis that needs action. Unfortunately for rural Mindanao in the Philippines, help is scarce. We are changing this.
We do what it takes to provide help for the disadvantaged young people through our Safe Space where access awareness and education, community support, capacity building and early intervention are available. But we cannot do it alone. More than just a donor, you can be the only help they need. So, join us and be a #SafeSpaceChampion for our young people.
Our presence on the ground and the relationship we have built with our partner-beneficiaries guarantee that we understand local health priorities, ensuring that your donation reaches those who truly needs it. Your donation helps young people in the communities we work in have access to:
- Awareness and Education resources through online campaigns, school health fairs and community safe space events;
- Community Support through peer counselling, online support group sessions, and check-ins;
- Capacity Building training that allows young people (including advocates and workers) to become safe space allies; and
- Early Intervention through online, phone and in-person support from a mental health professional
Help make real impact by becoming a #SafeSpaceChampion for our young people today!
